A 1.5k walk into the walled city of Lucca this morning - another beautiful day with temps slowly rising - up to about 28 now - it seems no time we were craving this warm weather after the freezing temps of Iceland. The trip is going so quickly - can't believe we have just turned the halfway point. Lucca is a lovely town - beautiful marble churches - not as busy or touristy as many of the old towns are - we had a leisurely stroll round the town for hours.
There is a hairdresser 250m from where we are staying so we have made appointments for early tomorrow - we are both long overdue. So wait to be dazzled by the newly groomed couple in the next blog.
