Saying goodbye to Mary in Rush we then dropped off our car at Dublin Airport. All went smoothly and our plane left on time - arrived in Oslo just after 3pm. We had a lovely driver on the express airport bus into the city who dropped us right outside our hotel - he saved us a 500m walk.
We walked round the town - lovely squares and malls - checking out the restaurants for dinner - very quiet - deserted really. Found out later it was a public holiday - which is why the shops were closed.
Off on a tour of the city tomorrow.
